Things They Like: Arunabh Das Sharma
An ‘Apple person’ without doubt, Sharma lets his iPhone 6 Plus do most of the job for him. Admitting that he is addicted to his phone, he says that the phone goes with him everywhere, ‘work or fun’. He also uses an iPad and Macbook Air. The only other gadget that he uses is the Jawbone UP.

The BCCL president’s favourite apparel brands are Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren. “Thankfully, both brands can straddle the work and play scene,” he says.

Not a gemstone person, his prefers a watch,  pen and spectacles as accessories. “I love watches and have a small watch collection, all of them are my favourites,” he says. His favourite perfume is Bvlgari Blv. He mainly sports handcrafted shoes, though he loves Ferragamo and Dr Marten’s too.

Calling himself a foodie, lately Sharma seems to be leaning more towards Eastern cuisines including Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean; even as Bengali food remains the all-time favourite.

He drives an Audi A6, and his second car is an Innova. But his eyes are on something else: “If I can ever afford one (which is unlikely) I would like to buy a Porsche Cayenne.”

Sharma will be travelling to Scotland this year. His favourite destination remains Greek Islands for its ‘rare combination of scenic beauty, great weather, outstanding food and friendly people’. Rare indeed.
