The Economist promotes Suprio Guha Thakurta

The Economist Group has announced a new structure in its Asia operations with effect from December 1st, 2008.  A company statement says the changes are a move towards regionalising and merging the businesses of the Group, and are part of the global restructuring of The Economist Group announced in July 2008 by Andrew Rashbass, CEO of The Economist Group on his appointment.
