Aircel urges youngsters to donate spare mobile phones
Aircel has come up with a marketing campaign that asks people to donate spare mobile phones for the benefit of senior citizens in old age homes.The telecom player’s creative agency Dentsu Marcom has created two TVCs in addition to print, poster and web (www.aircelsilence.com). Dentsu says the campaign is primarily targeted at the youth "considering they frequently change their phones".
Effies ’09: O&M is Agency of the Year, by a mile
Ogilvy and Mather (O&M) was declared Agency of the Year at Advertising Club Bombay’s Effies 2009 awards last evening.The awards which honour effectiveness in advertising, saw O&M (pictured above) take home 15 trophies (3 golds, 5 silvers and 5 bronzes) to amass 120 points, leaving other agencies behind by a large margin.O&M's client Vodafone Essar was declared the Client of the Year.

Wrigley's has come out with a new television commercial for Doublemint chewing gum. Conceptualised and executed by BBDO India, the TVC adopts the brand idea of 'Front foot pe chabao'.
