Vodafone has rolled out a campaign consisting of three films to push its postpaid offering. The films feature Viswanathan Anand and Gaurav Kapur.

Two of the three films have been released.

One film shows the duo in a taxi in London. Anand is busy on his phone. Kapur questions how he's streaming a cartoon for 45 minutes on his Vodafone India connection. Grandmaster Anand replies by telling him about his roaming plan which allows him to use unlimited data while roaming.

Another shows the duo having a leg massage. This film pushes Vodafone's postpaid plans which offer a free subscription of Amazon Prime and Vodafone Play.

Siddharth Banerjee - EVP - marketing, Vodafone India, said “Latest Vodafone RED is a lifestyle enabler of a new-age postpaid consumer, addressing their passion points like entertainment, travel, devices, shopping, family and tension points such as billing. This campaign aims to position Vodafone RED as India’s smartest postpaid, enabling our existing and new customers to make a smartest choice. We are glad to have chess champion and youth icon Vishwanathan Anand on board, who best fits the proposition of India’s smartest postpaid.”

According to a statement from Vodafone the campaign will run for four weeks. Along with the films, the campaign also has OOH, radio, print and digital legs.
