Thank You Ad Land

Despite the weather conditions, agencies turned out in full strength at the Campaign South Asia Agency of the Year Awards 2017. We at Campaign India applaud and appreciate their efforts.

Thank You Ad Land

It was a day when Mumbai feared the worst. Schools and colleges were declared shut. Offices, including many ad agencies, had declared a holiday, or allowed employees to leave early. In this backdrop, Campaign India got several calls asking whether the South Asia Agency of The Year 2017 would be held as scheduled on a day when everyone expected the cyclone to wreak havoc on the host city of the event, Mumbai.

We decided to hold the event in the belief that this storm too shall pass. And as history will bear evidence, it only rained awards that night. Some of the guests came in from as far as Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Some of them had delayed flights, but still reached the venue on time.

Others who were under the weather, still did not miss their date with AOY 2017. In true agency spirit, it was a house full and the event started on the dot.

We at Campaign India place on record our sincere thanks and appreciation to the advertising fraternity for their show of solidarity at the most prestigious agency awards ceremony. More power to you!
