Saugata Mukherjee rejoins SonyLiv
Sony Pictures Network India has announced the appointment of Saugata Mukherjee as head – content for SonyLiv. 
 
He will lead the content division for the channel’s digital businesses. This is his second stint with the company.
 
Mukherjee will report to Danish Khan, business head – SonyLiv, Sony Entertainment Television (SET) and Studio Next.
 
He moves from HBO Max, where he was head of content for India, prior to which he was head - original content, SonyLiv. 
 
Mukherjee said, “I have witnessed the platform's growth and proud to be part of its growth story once again. SonyLIV has always pushed the boundaries of content by telling stories that have never been told, explored, or shown before, making my role, a challenging but exciting one.”
 
With over 22 years of experience, he has also worked with Hotstar, Star TV Network, and HarperCollins Publishers, among others.
