Goafest registration to kick off from 1 March

The registration for Goafest 2009 begins on 1st March and will be open till 25th March The  last date to submit entries is 10th March. As reported by Campaign India earlier, Goafest will be held from 2nd April to 4th April. The Industry Leadership conclave will be held on 2nd April and Knowledge and Learning Seminars on 3rd and 4th April. While the Media Abby will take place on 3 April, the Creative Abby will be hosted on 4th April.

The Goafest committee has announced three confirmed speakers till now: Sir John Hegarty of BBH, Bob Scarpelli of DDB and Jean Marie Dru of TBWA (See their complete profiles on campaignindia.in). The rest of the speakers will be announced soon.

The theme for this year’s conclave is “This is too good a recession to waste”.

The committee has also announced a few changes in the Creative Abby categories. Design as a category has been introduced and will be open to both individuals and agencies. This year, the print category will also be open to individuals. There have been two new additions in the print category including copywriting and typography.

To build up the excitement, a teaser campaign ‘May the right brain win’, created by JWT, has been released. The TVCs are still under production and will be released soon.

The participation fee for delegates under 30 is Rs 4500 and for others is Rs 9000. Registration and all other details on www.goafest.com.
