Goafest 2016: J. Walter Thompson bags three Golds in 17-metal tally on Day Two

Two Golds among Taproot Dentsu's 18 awards; Cheil, Sarva bag two Golds each; 13 metals for Dentsu Creative Impact with one Gold

Goafest 2016: J. Walter Thompson bags three Golds in 17-metal tally on Day Two
J. Walter Thompson bagged three Golds at the Creative Abbys on day two of Goafest 2016. The wins were for the entry 'Mama' for Godrej Dual Video Door Phone in the Radio category, 'Perfume Portraits' for Lux in PR and 'Udaan' for Airtel in Brand Activation. The agency also bagged 11 Silver and three Bronze metals on the night.
 
Taproot Dentsu was the most awarded agency on the night with 18 metals. The haul included two Golds. One was for the 'Works best in outdoor' campaign for Indian Outdoor Advertising Association in Print Craft and the other for 'Waiting for You' in the Direct category. It also won six Silver and ten Bronze metals. 
 
Cheil India bagged two Golds too. Its metal tally consisted of five Silver and four Bronze wins. The Gold wins were for 'Donate a face' for Channv Foundation - Stop Acid Attacks in the PR category and 'Spread the Joy' for Samsung Joy Plus Televisions and Sanjay Gandhi Animal Care Centre in the Brand Activation category.
 
Sarva Integrated was another agency that bagged two Gold metals. Both were for work on Mawbima Vesak Lanterns in the PR category.
 
Dentsu Creative Impact's 'One Breath - He, She and Them' for Max Healthcare also won Gold. The agency also bagged two Silver and 10 Bronze trophies. 
 
Dentsu Webchutney bagged a Gold for 'Sow, don't throw' for Helpusgreen in the PR category. It added another four Silver and a Bronze in its six metal tally.
 
DDB Mudra Group snared a Gold for the entry 'Paheli ki Saheli' for Unicef in the Brand Activation category. The agency also won a Silver and three Bronze metals. 
 
Publicis Communications' entry 'A Giant's Story' for Ambuja Cements bagged a Gold in Public Relations. The agency also won a Bronze.
 
Brave New World Communications also won a Gold and a Bronze. The Gold win was for the entry 'The Roadster Life Co' for Roadster in the Branded Content category.
 
Happy Creative Services' entry 'Ola Boat' for Ola bagged a Gold in PR.
 
Seagull Advertising was another agency to bag Gold, as its entry for Wari titled 'Aapla Ghar' won in PR.
 
There was no Grand Prix awarded on the night.
