Will exit in 'six to 12 months'; search on for successor

Facebook India MD Kirthiga Reddy to move back to the US
Kirthiga Reddy, the managing director of Facebook India and the social network's first employee in the country, has announced that she will return to the US in 'six to 12 months', for personal reasons.
Reddy started setting up the India operations six years ago.

In a post on her Facebook page late evening on Friday, 12 February 2016, she also said that a search was on for her successor.

"It will be business as-usual over the next 6-12 months. I am working closely with William Easton and Dan Neary as we search for my successor in India. I have also begun to explore new opportunities at Facebook back at Menlo Park," her post read.
