Webby Awards 2014: Blink Digital wins People's Voice award for KFC WOW@25

Augmented Reality App only winner from India; Ogilvy Paris is Agency of the Year

Blink Digital's Augmented Reality App for KFC titled 'Wow @ 25' was the lone Indian winner at this year's Webby Awards, winners of which were announced on 28 April in New York. The agency won a 'People's Voice' award for the entry.

In the awards' 18th edition, Ogilvy Paris was crowned Agency of the Year.

From among entries nominated in each category, Webby Awards honours one winner chosen by the jury and one through popular vote. Votes were cast by 500,000 Internet fans from over 200 countries and territories to choose this year's winners of the People's Voice awards. The maximum number of People's Voice awards were won by Vice Media (7), Google (5) and Tumblr (4).

Among Webby winners were Google+ Same Sex Marriage by Ogilvy Paris, Dove Real Beauty Sketches by Ogilvy Brasil and Volvo Epic Split by Forsman & Bodenfors.
