McCann snares Partha Sinha from Publicis
Partha Sinha, MD and CSO at Publicis South Asia, will take on the role of vice chairman and MD at McCann Worldgroup India.

The development follows news of McCann COO Govind Pandey’s exit. As reported by Campaign, Pandey will take over as CEO of TBWA/India in January 2016.

On 23 November, Prasoon Joshi, chairman, McCann Asia-Pacific, and CEO, McCann Worldgroup India, confirmed Pandey’s exit from the agency and Sinha’s joining.

He said, “I am delighted to have Partha Sinha join the company. I have always respected Partha's ideas and beliefs about our business and have immense value for the connection we share. He is an industry veteran with an extraordinary reputation and I am really looking forward to him coming on board partnering and further strengthening our formidable McCann India team; with national advertising led by Alok Lall, planning leadership led by Jitender Dabas reinforced by Suraja Kishore and  the creative leadership of Pradyumna Chauhan and Prateek Bhardwaj with Sohan Shah leading Mumbai, propelling our brands and businesses to greater heights.”

Partha Sinha and Bobby Pawar had joined Publicis South Asia (Publicis Capital and Ambience Publicis) in May 2013, as CSO and CCO respectively.
