Moving from Linen Lintas, he will head creative at Grey's Gurgaon office

Pranav Harihar Sharma joins Grey Group as ECD
Grey Group India has brought on board Pranav Harihar Sharma as executive creative director to lead its creative team in Gurgaon. He moves  from Linen Lintas.

Samir Datar, VP and branch head, Grey Group Gurgaon, said, “We are delighted to have Pranav on board. The momentum that we have achieved in last one year, will only get accelerated with his sharp creative approach. He is going to lead and mentor a talented creative team and contribute immensely to Grey creating 'famous' and 'effective' work for our clients.”

Sharma added, “Famous and effective. These are the two words that defines today's advertising. When your work is talked about outside advertising circles by the mass, it is both. And this shows a natural alignment of my understanding of advertising and Grey, which stands for 'Famously effective'. I am excited to be the part of Grey Delhi team, which is a ferociously creative bunch of guys. With them, I am looking forward to do some real and good work that's effective in the market and famous in the award circuit.”

Malvika Mehra, (outgoing) NCD and EVP, Grey Group, said, “Whilst looking for an ECD for our Gurgaon office, I was very clear that I wanted someone who was not only talented (that’s hygiene for any creative worth his/her salt today), but also someone who has the fire-in-the-belly to 'make things happen'. To lead, take charge and be as passionate and hungry to make that office grow as we are. Someone who understands brands and clients’ needs. Seeing what Pranav had done on Dabur (Brave and Beautiful), the Car Dekho campaign and more recently as one of the chosen ‘Fab Four Directors’ at Adfest, I am convinced I have made the right choice. I already have a very talented bunch of creatives in that office. What was missing was a leadership… the most precious piece of the jigsaw. With Pranav coming on board, I think the final picture is indeed looking good. And I have no doubt that he and the teams at Grey Gurgaon will totally rock it.”

Sharma has also worked with Rediffusion Y&R, DDB Mudra and JWT in past assignments.
