The TVC for the phone re-defines Samsung Mobile’s proposition –‘Musicgiri non-stop’. It shows a girl using her Samsung touch phone. As she touches the music button on the phone, thousands of music CD’s are shown getting out of a music store and finding their way towards her phone to symbolise Samsung offering 1,00,000 songs for their users to download.

Commenting on the TVC, Alok Agrawal, chief operating officer, Cheil Worldwide SW Asia said, “The Samsung Champ is a music phone targetted at users who end up carrying several gadgets to keep themselves entertained. The Champ allows users to download 1,00,000 songs on to their phones. You can compare that to carrying 10,000 music CD’s with you. One touch, enables users to get all the songs they require.”

Agrawal added, “The brief given by Samsung was to bring out the feature of carrying your music with you, for which we gave an urbane, contemporary and stylish look and feel for the TVC by demonstrating several music CDs making their way to the phone.”

Anand Iyer from Soda Films was the director for the film that consisted of Johnny Soko and Flying Robots’ computer graphics.
