Winners announced for AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2011

Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) and The Times Group has announced the winners for AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2011. Greeshma Jos and Ganesh Nayak of Leo Burnett, Mumbai won the chance to participate in Cannes Lions 2011 as the official team from India for the International Young Lions Creative Competition in June 2011.

Announcing the result of AAAI-Cannes Young Lions Creative Competition 2011, Vinod Nair, convener of this Competition said, “The Times Group and AAAI are giving a rare opportunity to young creatives in India to participate in Cannes Lions and compete with the very best young talent in the world."

In all, organisers received 165 entries on the theme ‘Don't Bribe. Follow Rules'. Nishant Shah and Neeta Srikanth of Publicis Ambience, Bangalore were the runners-up team at the competition. The two-phased judging had Josy Paul, chairman and national creative director, BBDO India and Tista Sen, senior vice president and executive creative director, JWT, Mumbai were jury members.

The winning team will be flying off to the Cannes Advertising Festival in June to participate in the prestigious International Young Lions Creative Competition. The Times Group, the official festival representatives of Cannes in India, will bear all the expenses of the wining teams' trip to Cannes.
