Star CJ Alive launches online shopping mall

STAR CJ Network India has announced its foray into the online space with the launch of www.starcj.com on February 1 2011. Just like most online shopping websites, the store will allow people to come in, check all the products available on the catalogue, compare them, select products of their choice, place an order and pay online.

Paritosh Joshi, chief executive officer, STAR CJ Network India, said, “There’s so much happening on the Internet today that we just had to ensure our presence on this dynamic and evolving platform.  We are very excited to offer STAR CJ Alive products to consumers in the online space.  We will continue to bring to the Indian consumers a great variety of brands and products as STAR CJ Alive enjoys the response that the television channel has received since its launch and we are happy to extend our services to online shoppers as well, thus, living up to our promise of transforming lifestyles of our audience.”

A press note from the network stated that people can expect to find the same branded, high quality and premium products that have been featured on the television channel. The products available on the shopping portal will be spread six categories viz. Digital, Electronics, Kitchen, Living, Fashion, Jewellery and Beauty.
