Only Indian entry to be recognised with honour based on online and on-site voting

Seagull work emerges 'Third favourite' in Planet category at ACT Responsible Cannes Tribute 2015
Of the campaigns chosen to be showcased in the Planet section of the ACT Responsible Cannes Tribute alongside the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2015, one that emerged 'Third favourite' was from Seagull Advertising India.
 
The work was 'Endangered Species' for Thermax Profetherm, the only one from India to be receiving an honour based on public voting.
 
From 1,310 campaigns since June 2014 in its database, 500 were shortlisted to be part of the ACT exhibition and 115 campaigns were showcased (13 in the Planet section, 31 in Education, 40 in Solidarity and 31 in Human Rights). The 2015 ACT Responsible exhibition gathered 86 agencies from more than 33 countries. 
 
Approximately 4,500 visitors came to the exhibition hosted during the Cannes Lions festival, with 1,878 voting on site and 33,770 online. 
 
Marie Pourreyron, adjointe to the mayor of Cannes; Bernard Brochand, mayor of Cannes; and ACT members, handed out the ACT Responsible Tributes 2015 in the exhibition area of the Palais des Festivals.
 
 
ACT Responsible is a non-profit to raise awareness on social and environmental issues by showing the best global communication campaigns covering them. Since 2002, Cannes has been supporting ACT Responsible's work
