London International Awards 2013: Ogilvy and RDP win Gold, 17 metals for India

McCann wins six metals, Ogilvy four, Taproot and Ramesh Deo Productions bag two each

London International Awards 2013: Ogilvy and RDP win Gold, 17 metals for India

Seventeen of 29 shortlisted entries from India went on to win metal at the London International Awards 2013, winners of which were announced on 4 November. 

McCann Erickson bagged six metals, Ogilvy followed with four, while Ramesh Deo Productions and Taproot bagged two each. Chrome Pictures, Leo Burnett and the Lifebuoy 'Help a child reach five' film (entered by Lowe Lintas and Partners London) bagged one metal each.

In the Billboard category, Ogilvy & Mather won Gold for art direction, for its entry Philips LED Torch.

In the TV/Cinema/Online Film - Music and Sound category, Ramesh Deo Productions bagged a Gold for original song, in the Nike Cricket (Parallel Journeys) film. The agency behind the film is JWT India.

Globally, Ogilvy bagged the Network of the Year award, while McCann Melbourne was awarded the Agency Of The Year.

Indian winners

Design

Ogilvy & Mather bagged two metals in this category. It won Silver for Philiips LED Torch in the 'Use of Photography Campaign'. The second metal was a Bronze in the 'Poster Campaign' sub-category for WWF India. Taproot India bagged the third Indian metal in the category with its 'Farmer Suicide' campaign for The Times of India.

Non-traditional

Leo Burnett bagged a Silver in this category for its entry 'Reflection of Music - Installation' for Coke Studio.

India won five Bronze metals in this category, of which McCann bagged four and Ogilvy one. McCann's wins came for their campaign for Penguin Audiobooks in the 'Art Direction, 'Art Direction Campaign', 'Use of Illustration Campaign' and 'Use of Illustration' sub-category. Ogilvy won its Bronze in the 'Use of Photography' sub-category for its work for Phillips LED lights.

McCann bagged a Silver and a Bronze, while Taproot picked up a Silver in this category. McCann's wins came for Penguin Audiobooks, while Taproot's win came for The Times of India.

TV/Cinema/Online Film - Music & Sound Winners

Besides Nike Cricket which bagged Gold, Lowe and Partners London's entry ‘Help a child reach five’ for Lifebuoy bagged a Silver inthis category.

TV/Cinema/Online Film - Production | Post-Production Winners

Ramesh Deo Productions and Chrome Pictures bagged a Silver each in this category for their work on Nike Cricket and Lifebuoy respectively.
