Kartik Aaryan turns down pan masala endorsement deal

According to media reports, actor Kartik Aaryan has refused to sign a brand endorsement deal worth INR 8-9 crores with a pan masala brand.

News reports shared that as a youth representative on the big screen, it is his responsibility to be conscious of the brands he aligns himself with.

Netizens took to Twitter to applaud the actor for refusing a lucrative deal.

A few months ago, actor Akshay Kumar made the headlines for promoting a pan masala brand. Kumar apologised for his actions. Kumar was featured with other mega stars Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan.
Aaryan, however has brands like Fanta and Wigwam Plywood, Cadbury Silk, Boat Speakers, Doritos, Manyavar, Armani Exchange watches, Lux Inferno, ITC Engage, Bata, among others in his brand endorsement kitty.
