The Indian media and entertainment group has a presence in Hindi, Bhojpuri, Marathi and Bengali languages.

Manish Singhal, MD, Enterr10 said, “I am truly delighted in having Joy aide us in our endeavour to reach newer heights in line with our vision for this group. I welcome Joy into our family.”

Chakraborthy said, “Today is like déjà vu in many ways. Years ago, after having set up sales at Star India, I moved to Zee, then a smaller organisation to set up sales there and over the years leading it and watching its sales revenue grow well. In December 2011, I moved from Zee Network, leaving behind a professional sales team at record high sales’ numbers. Today, the feeling is similar as I start my stint with Enterr10 Media. I take on an important step in my media journey working towards making this happen for them.”

Chakraborthy started his media career with the TOI group of publications in their Response team, there after he joined Star India as EVP, heading ad sales for most of their channels as well as launched some of their leading channels like Star Gold, Star Vijay, National Geographic, Life Ok (then, Star One). He later moved to Zee as Executive Director to head revenue and channel placement for all their channels across genres of GEC, movies, regionals, music, sports and P&L head for the group’s niche channels thus bringing in international English entertainment into the country. As CEO at TV Today, Joy consolidated their news channels into leading positions in the domestic market and introduced them in the international space. His second stint with the Times Group happened towards end of 2012 as director – response, heading their metros’ business along with several verticals as well as niche publications. His last assignment was with the Network 18 group as CEO – Forbes India and president – revenue TV18 Broadcast’s bouquet of 20 channels
