Saikhom Mirabai Chanu (popularly known as Mirabai Chanu) opened India's Olympic tally for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo with a Silver medal in the weightlifting category on 24 July.

Moments after the victory, in an interview with NDTV, Chanu stated that she wanted to eat a pizza to celebrate her win after months of training.

Domino's reacted to the statement by offering Chanu Domino's Pizza for life and then followed it with a 'small token of appreciation' which was food from the chain.

At the time of writing this report, Chanu is the only Indian to win a medal at this year's Olympics.
