Chintamani Rao to head Media Direction

With the departure of Les Margulis, RK Swamy BBDO has brought in Chintamani Rao as president of their integrated media solutions division, Media Direction. Rao was previously the chief executive officer of Times Global Broadcasting, a post he retired from a week ago. Speaking about his new role to Campaign India, Rao said, “It’s getting back to a business that I know and love.” He starts his new job today. “All I know is that the whole idea is to raise the level of the game,” he said. “The how and what depends on the situation after I join.”
