The year began with the successful defence of the Unilever business for India, except for the digital business. If this was a loss, the agency made up for it by winning the Digital Agency of the Year award at the Campaign India-BBC.com Digital Media Awards and, just last night, at the Campaign Asia Agency of the Year Award.
The year also saw the consolidation of the entire Aditya Birla Group business and the big win of the year, a significant part of the Videocon business, including D2h, Electrolux and the Philips TV business.
No losses at all of senior level talent, no loss of accounts, and a few gains in both business and proof of competence. That’s a good year.
How Campaign India rates the agency: 9

How Mindshare rates itself: 9
We set ourselves an audacious goal to reach 1 Bn $ business billings across South Asia (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka) in 2010 and a revenue stream of nearly 20% coming from diversified services. And we have realized this in 2010 on the back of a client focused restructuring of organization dismantling the conventional “office head” model. A wholesome Change Management Program was rolled out by the Corporate Office with a combination of 6 business programs for all 8 branches whose performances will be managed through a structured balanced scorecard framework across 4 perspectives viz., Agency Climate, Client Satisfaction, New Mindshare and Profitability. We have won EMVIES now three years in a row, won the first Campaign Digital Agency of the year. Importantly, India also won the Office of the year, globally across all Mindshare offices. All in all, a fantastic year and all our people are with us to celebrate this success.
