Ogilvy leads with 13, followed by Cheil (nine), FCB India (six), WATConsult (six), Indeed (five), C-Lab (three) and VMLY&R

Ad Stars 2020: 43 shortlists from India
The organisers of Ad Stars 2020 have announced the finalists for this year's edition.
 
Indian agencies have received 43 of the 1,651 shortlists for this year's awards.
 
Leading the pack is Ogilvy. Six of Ogilvy's shortlists came for 'I will wear out plastic' for the United Nations Environment Project. The agency had two shortlists each for 'The Cadbury Unity Bar' for Mondelez, 'Don't wash, don't clean, save the evidence' for Gordon Thompson Honeywell, Pidilite Industries' 'Fevi-call' and one for The Hindu Group's 'distancing'.
 
Cheil India has nine shortlists. Six are for Samsung's 'Good Vibes' and three are for Adidas' 'Unreal fans'.
 
All six of FCB India's shortlists are for Mumbai Police's 'The Punishing Signal'. 
 
WATConsult has six shortlists too. Three of them are for SBI Life Insurance (two for 'real life, real stories' and one for 'Apnokihimmatwaaliseeti'). The agency also had two shortlists for Tata Motors (one each for 'safety first ludo' and 'unleash the dark'). The agency also got a shortlist for IndiaFirst Life Insurance's 'Qwali'. 
 
Indeed has five shortlists for Reliance Broadcast Network's 'Frequen-See'. 
 
C-Lab had three shortlists each for Manipal Health Enterprises' 'Healing Touch'.
 
VMLY&R has one shortlist for 'Parachute ChampiBeats' for Marico.
