Weekend Fun: Finding Fanny, Deliver us from Evil

For those with no weekend plans yet, cinemas and television sets could give you company as there's plenty coming your way.

Finding Fanny

Directed and written by Homi Adajania, it stars Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapur, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor. The film is based on a road trip set in Goa. Five friends set off in search of Fanny, Shah's love interest. 

Deliver Us from Evil

Hollywood fans can catch crime-horror film Deliver Us from Evil. The film is directed by Scott Derrickson, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It's based on the non-fiction book Beware the Night by Ralph Sarchie and Lisa Collier Cool. The film stars Eric Bana, Édgar Ramírez, Sean Harris, Olivia Munn, and Joel McHale.

Football fans have two big games to look forward to. 

In the Barclays Premier League, Arsenal host Manchester City. The game will kick off at 5.15 pm, live on Star Sports HD 2 and Star Sports 2.

In the Spanish League, champions Atletico Madrid host neighbours and fellow title aspirants Real Madrid. The game will kick off at 11.30 pm on Star Sports HD 2.
