India takes four of 10 Golds awarded this year; McCann, MTV bag a Silver each

Appies 2014: BBH, McCann bags two Golds each
BBH India and McCann Worldgroup India bagged two Golds each at the Appies 2014, the annual marketing festival organised by the Institute of Advertising Singapore.
 
Both BBH India’s Gold wins were for work on Marico India, in the ‘Non-food FMCG’ category. The winning entries were ‘Change with Pride’ and ‘Sharing Success’.
 
McCann India’s Golds were for work in the ‘Food & Beverages’ category. Work for Coca-Cola (Adding Fizz to the Indian Family Meal Time) and Nescafe Classic (Kick-starting India’s Morning) won maximum honours.
 
Also in the ‘Food and Beverages’ category, McCann WorldGroup India won a Silver for work on Marico (The smarter way to stay fit).
 
In the ‘Pro bono / Government / Cultural’ category, Viacom18 bagged a Silver for MTV Rock The Vote.
 
BBDO Singapore’s Golds includes one for work on HP for the Indian market, titled ‘Help your child shine’.
 
In all, 10 Golds were awarded this year.
 
Among five best presenters was Jitender Dabas of McCann India, with the rest being from Singapore.
 
The two-day festival was hosted on 14 and 15 August 2014.
