O&M Bangalore's Malvika Mehra and Amit Akali call it quits

They are yet to finalise their new destination.Mehra and Akali had moved to Ogilvy Bangalore from Ogilvy Mumbai in 2006. They have worked on accounts such as State Bank of India, Allen Solly, Bingo!, Titan and Lenovo. Mehra started her career with Ogilvy in 1994 and Akali joined the agency in 2004.

Mehra and Akali had moved to Ogilvy Bangalore from Ogilvy Mumbai in 2006. They have worked on accounts such as State Bank of India, Allen Solly, Bingo!, Titan and Lenovo. Mehra started her career with Ogilvy in 1994 and Akali joined the agency in 2004.

Confirming the development to Campaign India, Mehra said, "Both me and Amit have put in our papers. There is no reason as such to quit and we truly love Ogilvy. However, it is just time to explore something new. I want to get out of my comfort zone."

Talking about their new destination, she said, "We have couple of offers but we are still weighing our options."
