Dentsu Communications has appointed Vaasu Gavarasana (pictured) as head of its Bangalore operations and head of the Toyota business.
Gavarasana joins Dentsu from McCann-Erickson Singapore where he was senior regional business director managing the J&J Asia-Pacific consumer brands. While at TBWA, he has worked with Chiat/Day planning team on barnesandnoble.com. He then moved to Singapore to head Y&R 2.1. He has handled brands like Nestle -SEA, MasterCard- SEA, Lufthansa Asia and Boots Healthcare Asia.
Ruchira Raina, managing director, Dentsu Communications said, “Vaasu brings on board a very Indian sensibility to advertising coupled with an international perspective.
