Chlorophyll.in wins at Internet Advertising Competition

Chlorophyll's new website www.chlorophyll.in has won the best professional services website award 2009 hosted by the IAC (Internet Advertising Competition).

The website has been created by Indigo Systems & Technology Consulting. The team behind the website includes Jyoti Kotecha, Navin Balakrishnan, Imtiaz Shaikh and Jeemutbahan Roy.

Said Kiran Khalap, co-founder, Chlorophyll, “At the highest level, the award is self-referential: it means we practise what we preach. If we are out there in the market suggesting that we can help brands build using social media and web space, we ought to be able to do that for ourselves. The award is a vindication of that capability. (Of course, Indigo Consulting gets 10/10 for being patient collaborators!)”

The website is extremely interactive. Khalap said, “The use of video humanises the interaction instantly. You, the visitor, interacts with human beings and their beliefs, rather than with a faceless entity. We have built in three routes to start the conversation: through chlog, our blog; through direct contact on any of the several mail ids and skype; and most important, through the invitation to start a conversation on the home page itself.”

The IAC Awards are produced by the Web Marketing Association to honor excellence in online advertising, recognize the individuals and organizations responsible, and showcase the award winning Internet advertising.
