IBD bags Vimal
 
IBD has announced that it has won the creative mandate for ‘Only Vimal’, the textile brand under Reliance Industries, following a multi-agency pitch. The account was bagged earlier this year, and a campaign is expected to go on air shortly. The new campaign is expected to showcase the brand's repositioning and refreshed brand image. 
 
Melt 2016 in Delhi
 
After its debut in Mumbai last year, Kyoorius is taking its two-day advertising, media and marketing festival to the national capital region. Among speakers on 26 and 27 August 2016 will be Mark Van Iterson, global head of design and concept, Heineken; Per Nilsson, corporate communication and marketing director, Semcon; Tom Betts, chief data officer, Financial Times; blogger, strategist and speaker Jeff Bullas,; Ted Mellström, CD, Forsman & Bodenfors; and Nicole Yershon, director, digital innovation, Ogilvy & Mather Group.
 
WYP bags ITC’s Fabelle’s digital and social duties
 
ITC Foods has roped in What’s Your Problem as the digital and social AoR for its recently announced luxury chocolate brand, Fabelle. The brand will be retailed through exclusive Chocolate Boutiques located in ITC’s Luxury Hotels. The agency  bagged the account six months ago, and has been working on the launch, informed a statement.
 
Happy zooms in on design, B2B
 
Happy Creative Services announced this week that it has strengthened its design and B2B/enterprise offerings. A joint 25-member team has been created, building on its existing design unit.
 
Praveen Das, chief creative officer and co-founder, Happy, said, "Since inception, Happy has always had a strong design team, and has won many awards for design work. Today with the evolving market and fragmented media scenario, design and digital, with a strong technology component, are being leveraged to find solutions for brands, internal communication, BTL and B2B.”
 
The team comprises Arnab Ray (group CD), Akshaye Madhok (business growth – design and B2B/enterprise), Nandita D’costa (business head, design). Avneet J (business head, B2B/enterprise) and Kiran BS (technology director).
 
RBNL gets Vikas Khanchandani
 
Reliance Broadcast Network has roped in Vikas Khanchandani as chief business officer. Khanchandani will be responsible for driving strategic business initiatives and will report to Ashwin Padmanabhan, COO. Prior to this, Khanchandani was co-founder at AIDEM Ventures.
 
My FM's new stations 
 
Dainik Bhaskar group's My FM launched two radio stations in Haryana in end-July, one each in Hisar and Karnal. These were among 13 new frequencies won by the company in the first lot of phase III auctions. With the new licences, My FM would have a reach of 30 cities across seven States. The brand came up with a campaign 'Aapki Marzi' to understand listener preferences and design content. This pre-launch campaign was followed up with a 'Ab har kaan khush' campaign across print, OOH and experiential activities.
