Madan Sanglikar to exit Mindshare

After a nine year stint with GroupM, Madan Sanglikar, principal partner – Invention at Mindshare India, has decided to leave the agency.

Confirming the news, Sanglikar said, "I've spent about nine years with Mindshare/ GroupM; when I joined the digital team was just two members at GroupM, now it's about 200. From July 2007, I've been leading the digital team for Mindshare. There have been lots of ups - dominating the Emvies, winning Campaign India Digital Media Awards and Campaign Asia-Pacific's Agency of the Year, to name a few. Overall it has been an interesting journey. It was good to see the business and team size grow to the current level. I leave behind an enviable team which is best in class. All in all, it's been an excellent stint."

On why he decided to leave, he said, "The reason to leave is for a fresh challenge, to do something new and different from what I've done at GroupM."

Sanglikar's next destination is unknown at the moment. More on that soon.
