Hiren Pandit joins TransStadia as COO

Hiren Pandit has joined sports infrastructure, IP and consulting company TrasStadia as chief operating officer. He assumed his new role on 15 July 2013. Prior to this, Pandit was managing partner, special projects, GroupM.

On his move, Pandit said, “I am passionate about sports and the commitment TransStadia has shown in this space is how I made this decision to join them.”

Udit Sheth, MD and CEO, TransStadia, said, “TransStadia has swiftly grown over the last four years. To manage this growth and further build the business we wanted to build a strong leadership team. I have known Hiren for some time now and believe his experience and passion are the right combination to lead TransStadia in achieving its objectives. Personally and on behalf of TransStadia I welcome Hiren and wish him all the success in his new role.”

Over the last few years, TransStadia has worked to develop talent at the grassroot level and launched sports academies in various States, informed an official statement.
