Grey bags RmKV Silks business

Grey Chennai has won the creative mandate for RmKV Silks, an Indian silk saree manufacturer. The business was won in a multi agency pitch.The brief from the client was to come up with a strategy to tackle the shopping slump and create a path breaking wedding campaign which would stand out.

Grey Chennai has won the creative mandate for RmKV Silks, an Indian silk saree manufacturer. The business was won in a multi agency pitch.

The brief from the client was to come up with a strategy to tackle the shopping slump and create a path breaking wedding campaign which would stand out.

Speaking on the win, Christabelle Howie, branch head, Grey Chennai commented, “We are looking forward to working on the brand. RmKV known for their sari innovations and saris as a category are very big in Chennai and the south.  We look forward to adding our expertise to the brand.”

Rm.K.Sivakumar, MD, RmKV Silks said, “A number of agencies made their strategy and creative recommendations for RmKV, but we were most impressed with Grey’s presentation. Their strategy was sound and creative. What impressed us most was their understanding of the category and brand issues within a short period of time.”

The company was founded in 1924 by Sri Rm.K.Visvanatha Pillai and showrooms in Chennai and Tirunelveli.
