Will stay on to facilitate transition; not decided on next assignment yet

Pratap Bose, COO, puts in his papers at DDB Mudra Group

Pratap Bose, COO, DDB Mudra Group, and CEO, DDB Mudramax, has put in his papers. He joined the agency in 2008, after a 15-year-stint at Ogilvy India, last as CEO.

The DDB Mudra Group is not looking for a replacement. Madhukar Kamath, Group CEO and MD, was given a four-year extension recently (2014), informed a Mudra Group executive.

Speaking with Campaign India, Bose said, “Madhukar (Kamath) and I have agreed that I will stay on till the transition is complete. I have not decided on the next assignment yet and am available to the Group until such time.”

Bose was South Asia Agency Head of the Year at the Campaign South Asia Agency of the Year Awards 2013, while DDB MudraMax won Silver in the Specialist Agency of the Year competition. DDB Mudramax was also winner of the Specialist Agency of the Year in 2012.
