Contract names Kapil Mishra Mumbai creative head

Ropes in Talha Bin Mohsin and Mahesh Parab from DDB Mudra Delhi as VPs and senior CDs for Mumbai

Contract names Kapil Mishra Mumbai creative head

Contract Advertising has announced that Kapil Mishra (pictured above), executive creative director, projects, has been given additional responsibility of overseeing all creative work at Contract's Mumbai office, as ECD and creative head.

The agency has also brought on board Talha Bin Mohsin and Mahesh Parab from DDB Mudra Delhi as vice president and senior creative directors for its Mumbai office.

On Mishra's elevation, Ashish Chakravarty, NCD, Contract Advertising, said, “Kapil has really impressed us with his clarity of thought, his ability to work on multiple projects, his keen eye for good ideas, and his sheer tenacity to see things through. But what marked him out for a bigger role was the way he led people across departments, and levels of seniority, through some very tough but ultimately successful projects. Plus he is a fabulously fun guy to work with. Something tells me, that with Kapil as the ECD and creative head, Contract Mumbai will be quite the place to watch out for.”

On Bin Mohsin and Parab's appointments, he added, “I am thrilled to have Talha and Mahesh on board. As individuals they are obviously talented, but as a team, they are an absolute delight. Having worked with them in the past, I know that apart from having an uncanny nose for metal, they also bring tons of enthusiasm, craft, and sparkling solutions to the table. I look forward to fireworks, and delighted clients.”

Mishra joined Contract from Law & Kenneth in April this year. He has worked with Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett in past assignments.

Prior to DDB Mudra, Bin Moshin and Parab worked at McCann Erickson Mumbai. Bin Moshin has also been with Leo Burnett in an earlier assignment, while Parab was with Publicis Ambience.
