Shavon Barua returns to Euro RSCG

Euro RSCG has appointed Shavon Barua (pictured) as director of its Mumbai office. Barua replaces Rajan Patel who has decided to move on after 14 years at the agency.This is Barua's second innings at Euro RSCG, having worked earlier at its Delhi office, where she was head of the Reckitt Benckiser business. In between these two innings, Shavon was with JWT as executive business director. She has also worked in Bates, SSC&B Lintas, Rediffusion, Ambience and Dentsu.

This is Barua's second innings at Euro RSCG, having worked earlier at its Delhi office, where she was head of the Reckitt Benckiser business. In between these two innings, Shavon was with JWT as executive business director. She has also worked in Bates, SSC&B Lintas, Rediffusion, Ambience and Dentsu.

Commenting on her appointment, Suman Srivastava, CEO, Euro RSCG said, "Shavon is an excellent client-focused communications professional and has worked on clients like Reckitt Benckiser, Colgate Palmolive, Pepsi Foods, Nestle, ITC and Lakme.  I am delighted to have her back and am sure that she will make a huge positive impact on the quality of our work and also help grow the business."

Shavon said, "I moved to Mumbai for personal reasons and while evaluating offers, I was really happy when offered the office head role at Euro RSCG. It is critical for me to work with the right people and Suman is someone I really respect. Also the people at Euro are some of the best in the industry and having worked with Satbir (Singh) earlier was another advantage."
