Ipan Hill+Knowlton bags HSBC’s PR mandate

Ipan Hill+Knowlton Strategies has bagged the public relation duties for HSBC India. The agency will be responsible for brand awareness, corporate reputation and strategic visibility for HSBC's key businesses in India, informed an agency statement.

The account was will be handled by Ipan’s Mumbai office and headed by Vinod Moorthy, senior VP - Mumbai and head of corporate advisory group, India.

Radhika Shapoorjee, president South Asia, IPAN H+K Strategies, said, “The BFSI sector has some unique communications challenges, not least of which is the need for companies to show clear and consistent differentiation and strategic focus. We are delighted to win the HSBC mandate in India, given they have a strong presence in the Indian market as a leading international bank. We look forward to driving their strong value proposition as HSBC sees India as a key strategic market in their global business plans”.
