Name Natasha Amir
Job Senior manager, LINOPINION
Professional mission To run my own PR agency!
Personal mantra To try and be calm, cool and collected at all times – people who know me know thats mission impossible!

7:00am zzzzz – Waking me up is NOT a good idea…I’m not a morning person.
8:00 - 8:15am Snooze alarm
8:30am Get up and rush to work. On my way to work, listen to my iPod
9:30am Get my first caffeine fix for the day and check my mails…without coffee my day makes no sense.
10:00am Get my second cup of coffee. Sit with my boss who delegates a To-do-list for me and I further delegate it to my juniors. I then make my own Things To Do list, read the newspapers Hindustan Times, DNA, Times of India for sure, then get to work. Part of this involves delegating work…the best part of my day…send out updates and get updated on all the industries I need to track.
12:00 noon Take a break …Get my nicotine fix and also the daily download on office gossip (Gossip is therapeutic, isn’t it?) and then get back to work!
1:00pm Lunch time. I get ready to dig into everyone’s dabbas…food is a very important part of our day at work…so we normally end up discussing what everyone’s got in the morning!
1:30pm Back to work, that means mostly planning and strategising for all my clients…MTV, Vh1, ABD, Lowe Lintas etc….writing releases and checking releases. Sending them out when required by the client.
4:00pm Juggling between follow-up calls, client calls, meeting deadlines and wondering when my stress levels will get back to normal. On certain days, go for a client meeting, try and bowl them over with my "out-of-the-box" PR ideas.
6:30pm Getting ready to wrap up my day
7:00pm Head home or to a friend’s house...on the way look at the gym longingly…but pass it anyway!
9:00pm Make calls to figure out the night plan. Either go for a movie in town or a ghetto or a friend’s house. If it’s a weekend, go to Tote, Prive or Oba. If it’s a normal weekday, I go to a friend’s house for a movie or land up at the ghetto.
9:30pm All plans fail, land up at the ghetto, listen to the same old music, but love it anyway.
12:00am Curl up in bed...watch an hour of TV…Vh1 /Discovery / National Geographic…or watch back to back episodes of FRIENDS or Dirty Sexy Money…I have all seasons of both. :)
1:00am Good night!
