Freecharge builds on nation's 'cashless' mood; shows ease of usage

Watch the ad film conceptualised by Lowe Lintas here

Freecharge, a digital payment platform, has rolled out a new TVC that has been conceptualised by Lowe Lintas.

The film opens with a young man at a restaurant. Before placing his order, he opens his wallet. This is followed by a collection of thoughts. If he orders for non-vegetarian food, he will only be able to order one dish. If he orders two vegetarian dishes, he won't be able to take a taxi back home. He then thinks of taking an auto back home, but decides against it when he remembers about the cold winds while riding in one. This makes him think of having a cup of coffee instead, from a road-side vendor. But he decides against it because of a possibility of the coffee furthering the acidity, which he already has. The scene shifts back to the waiter in the restaurant as he thinks of ordering for curd-rice. But he wouldn't have the tip to pay the waiter. He then pulls out his phone, and the voice over introduces Freecharge. All the people he has thought about from the waiter to the rickshaw driver appear next to him, also on their phones to show Freecharge as a payment option for all.

The film was published on Freecharge's YouTube account on 23 November 2016 and has also gone on-air since.
