Taboola-Microsoft partnership completes 10 years

The AI-powered advertising platform provider Taboola has crossed a 10-year milestone providing advertising on a few digital properties and apps by Microsoft. For several years, Taboola served advertisements on Microsoft properties including MSN, a popular news portal, Microsoft Edge, the default browser on Windows PCs and laptops, and other Microsoft Windows experiences. Taboola has now started serving advertising on Microsoft Outlook and a few other apps within the Microsoft 365 productivity suite.

Taboola’s AI-powered technology is used by websites, devices, and mobile apps to drive user engagement and for monetisation. Advertisers can connect with nearly 60 crore active users every day in brand-safe environments, I.e. avoiding exposure to harmful, offensive, or inappropriate material that may harm its reputation.

“Reaching a decade serving ads with Microsoft is an incredible milestone. As we expand to offer advertising on additional Microsoft properties, we are giving advertisers even more access to trusted, premium destinations that reach people across all different parts of their day as they’re actively engaged.”

In the recent past, Taboola enhanced its advertising platform with Realize, an AI-powered solution to optimise performance across the marketing funnel. Going beyond native ads Taboola’s Realize platform aims to help advertisers reach target users at all stages, improving ROI. Last year, Taboola also adopted AI tool, including Abby for campaign management. It has also partnered with Xiaomi to broaden its reach.
