Havells has rolled out a film that builds on its 'wires that don't catch fire' thought. The film has been conceptualised by Mullen Lintas.
It opens with a child peeping into a window. He spots a dragon spitting fire. Concerned by this, he runs through the streets to inform a man, who is dressed like a tiger, about the dragon. He worringly asks him whether they'd lose. The man replies with a 'Dekhte hai'  (Let's see).
The scene shifts to the street, where the 'dragon' is making its entry, while the 'tiger' is seated comfortably. The dragon enters, and spits fire immediately, to the surprise of the on-lookers. The tiger is unconcerned though. He gets up from his chair, and walks on to the battlefield. The battle unfolds. The dragon continuously spits fire, while the tiger takes it on with his tail. It continues till the dragon gives up and the tiger is crowned as the winner. The child asks the tiger, about how he managed this. The man replies that while the dragon had the fire, he had the wire and reveals that his tail was made of Havells Wires. It ends with Havells' 'Wires that don't catch fire' line.
The film was published on YouTube on 27 December 2016 and also has a Tamil version.
