Amazon Prime Video celebrates the women in blue’s passion and skill on the pitch

Watch the film conceptualised by Mirato Media Solutions here

Amazon Prime Video has rolled out a campaign for the series between India and New Zealand to celebrate the sport of cricket and the Women in Blue.

The film features cricketers Mithali Raj and Smriti Mandhana.

Conceptualised by Mirato Media Solutions, the film highlights that the cricket series is a prominent game in India, irrespective of the player on the field. The film features Raj and Mandhana, with a voice-over that narrates that the essence of the pitch is passion, earnestness and skills of the player. It instils the message that a cricketer represents the country and binds every Indian’s heart with a feeling of pride.

Chaitanya Divan, head, Prime Video channels and sports, Amazon Prime Video India, said, “We received an encouraging response to the debut of live cricket on our service earlier this year. We are looking forward to giving our customers an engaging and immersive experience with every new cricket series. Our women in blue have gone from strength to strength with every tournament, and I am certain that each one of us will be rooting for them as they take on the white ferns on their home turf. Women’s cricket has gained momentum not just in India but around the world, and we are thrilled to offer our viewers an exciting clash between two of the most admired teams, live and exclusive on Prime Video.”
