Wunderman Thompson to handle Tata Astrum Super

Account win did not involve a multi-agency pitch

Wunderman Thompson to handle Tata Astrum Super
Wunderman Thompson India has won the brand building mandate for Tata Astrum Super, a brand housed by Tata Steel.

As per this mandate, the agency will position Tata Astrum Super, so as to resonate with both fabricators and end users. It will also help the brand command a premium over branded and unorganised players, forge bonds with channel partners and connect with end users.

The account win did not involve a multi-agency pitch and will be handled by Wunderman Thompson’s Kolkata office.

The agency has also been handling brand building for other Tata Steel’s brands such as Tata Steel Corporate and its retail brands comprising Tata Tiscon, Tata Shaktee, Tata Kosh, Tata Pravesh and Tata Wiron.

Vijay Jacob Parakkal, senior VP and managing partner, Wunderman Thompson, Kolkata, said, “Tata Steel and Wunderman Thompson go back many decades. We welcome Tata Astrum Super into the WT brand family and thank Tata Steel for its continued faith in our capabilities. We are
confident of doing justice to the mandate we have been given and look forward to
taking the brand to new heights.”
