Vodafone to continue with Maxus in India

Vodafone will be retaining Maxus as its Media AoR in India. Globally, the telecom major recently announced that OMD will be handling its £800 million media business. Contrary to media reports in India suggesting that the global alignment would see the business shift to OMD, however,  the telecom major is retaining Maxus as its media AoR in India.

Vodafone will be retaining Maxus as its Media AoR in India. Globally, the telecom major recently announced that OMD will be handling its £800 million media business. Contrary to media reports in India suggesting that the global alignment would see the business shift to OMD, however,  the telecom major is retaining Maxus as its media AoR in India.

Ajit Verghese, MD, Maxus India, confirmed the development to Campaign India. “Vodafone has been with us for the last seven to eight years, from the time the brand was called Hutch. It has been one of our founder clients in India and we are delighted to continue to work with them and happy that our clients have such enormous confidence in us.
