TBWA India appoints new CD for Chennai

TBWA India has hired Yagna Raman as creative director, art, at its Chennai office. Raman (pictured) will assist Francis Joseph (Josie), creative director, copy ,to manage the eight-member creative team. Raman was the co-founder and chief creative officer of Xerago before his move to TBWA India. "With the new media becoming critical in the communication mix, Yegi's skill sets will be an asset to the clients we manage", says PC Amarnath, VP, TBWA Chennai.

Quoting reasons for his move, Raman said, "Being a creative person, the word 'Disruption' fascinated me. I believe the role that I will be playing will be more of a 'disruption agent' as I have been out of advertising for some time now and hope to bring in a fresher perspective to the creative output".TBWA India clients include Standard Chartered Bank, Bajaj Allianz, Adidas, Apple Computer, Finolex, Pedigree, Afghan Wireless, Michelin, National Geographic/History Channel, Platinum Guild, Henkel, Malayala Manorama, Zandu, Samsonite, Nivea, MasterFoods, SIA, among others.
