Ogilvy Asia Pacific has appointed Juggi Ramakrishnan (pictured) as deputy regional executive creative director effective February 1, 2010. Ramakrishnan will be reporting to Eugene Cheong creative president, Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific.
Ramakrishnan has worked on clients like SingTel, NETS and Guinness. Commenting on the appointment Cheong said, “Juggi is a rare talent, he is one of Asia’s most respected creatives; I’m thrilled he’s joined our team. Despite the downturn, we remain committed to investing in top talent for the sake of our clients and their business. Juggi’s remit is to elevate the standard of our overall creative output, with a special emphasis on Southeast Asia.”
Added Eugene, “Superior creative equals new business: Juggi’s successful track record is evidence of this. His arrival signals everything good and great that we are doing at Ogilvy this year and in the years to come.”
