Mudra Mumbai gets Sudarshan Banerjee as VP

Mudra Mumbai has appointed Sudarshan Banerjee (pictured) as vice president. In his new role, Banerjee will be responsible for new business development. Banerjee comes from Genesis Advertising where he was the head of their Mumbai Office.Banerjee began his career as account executive at Onyx Associates in Kolkata. He has worked on brands such as Coca Cola, P&G, Reckitt Benckiser, ITC, Emami, Nissan, Good Year and Tata Indicom. He has worked at Bates, Euro RSCG, Grey, Contract and Saatchi & Saatchi.

Commenting on the new appointment, Arijit Ray, head, Mudra Mumbai said, “Sudarshan brings with him good business acumen and experience of working across a diverse spectrum of communication assignment. He would work very closely with the Mumbai team to complement our efforts towards inorganic growth.”

Banerjee added, “Having worked across various functions in advertising, Mudra appears to me to be the place where all those experiences can come together. Mudra’s integrated communication offering presents some extremely interesting opportunities and I’m keenly looking forward to aiding this integration process further.”
