
McCann Worldgroup was India's only representative among the winners at the Andy Awards 2014.
The agency bagged a Gold and three Silvers for its work titled 'Author Headphones' for Penguin Group. The Gold win came in the Promotional items/Collateral Design category, while the Silvers came in the McCann Worldgroup Newspaper/Illustration, Newspaper/Entertainment Author and Out of Home/Entertainment categories.
The global advertising show's most prestigious honour, The GRANDY, was won by Droga5 for the Thunderclap campaign in the Agency Innovation/Creative Technology category, in addition to a Gold in Social/Creative Technology for the work. Thunderclap is the first-ever crowdspeaking platform that helps people be heard by saying something together. It allows a single message to be mass-shared, flash mob-style, so it rises above the noise of social networks.
