31 shortlists from India at the Festival of Media Asia 2013

 

The shortlist for the second edition of the Festival of Media Asia Awards has been announced. India has received 31 shortlists from a total of 117 entries shortlisted.  According to the organisers, there has been a 180 per cent increase in campaigns from India.
 
Mindshare leads the shortists with 12 entries. Lodestar and MEC India follow with four each. OMD India has received two entries. 
 
Maxus, Zapak, Vizeum, Starcom, GroupM Dialogue Factory, Times of India, MTV, Sakal Group and Bennett & Coleman (BCCL) have received one shortlist each.
 
Commenting on the awards, Leonardo O’Grady, Jury Chair and director ASEAN integrated marketing communications, Coca-Cola, said, “These Awards are all about creative media thinking and I was impressed by the high calibre and quality of the entries - beautifully executed and concisely explained." 
 
Charlie Crowe, founder of the Festival and ,CEO,  C Squared, added “We were impressed with the creativity and calibre of the work coming out of Asia. The judges will have a difficult task picking out the winners – competition is fierce.”
 
The Awards shortlist was judged by a panel of nearly 60 senior industry professionals, and the select final awards jury will consist of only 30. Winners will be announced at the Festival of Media Asia 2013 at the W Singapore – Sentosa Cove from 3-5 March 2013 in Singapore.
