Videocon LEDs uses humour to showcase its 'true colours'

Watch the films conceptualised by Rediffusion Y&R

Videocon recently rolled out a campaign consisting of four films conceptualised by Rediffusion Y&R.

The humorous films look to highlight Videocon's technology of more natural colours of its LED TVs. The four films show the protagonist in different situations. As soon as he switches on the television set, his true colours are revealed.

Shikher Gupta, digital marketing head, Videocon, said, “Since Diwali is the time to cheer and celebrate, we came up with short videos with a light, humorous touch.  The campaign is built on Videocon’s Liquid Luminous range and effectively communicates the different hues and shades that one can experience with the new range. Asif Sheikh was an obvious choice as his personality matched perfectly with the theme. His colourful demeanour and vivid persona truly reflect the product USP. We are sure that these humorous videos will connect directly with our patrons, who are looking for pure entertainment. The videos will go live on our social media pages including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube.”

The campaign went live on 16 October 2017.
