Leo Burnett bags creative duties of The Express Group

The Express Group has picked Leo Burnett to handle its Rs 15-crore creative account after a six-way pitch that included the incumbent Vyas Gianetti Creative.The brands: Indian Express and Financial Express shall be handled by Leo Burnett Delhi, while the Group's Marathi-language daily, Loksatta and Bollywood-heavy weekly, Screen, will be serviced by Leo Burnett Mumbai.Said Sameer Gangahar, executive director, Leo Burnett, "Our brief is to primarily energise the Indian Express brand. The Group enjoys a strong brand equity, we just need to build on that."
